Farscape Fans: Get A Life!

I recently read to my amusement that nerds that will remain virgins forever have united in a last ditch effort to save their beloved Farscape. Wow, it most be tough for all those fans to shoot commercials from their mother’s basement.

I personally enjoy this one kids post to the distraught dorks:”I’ve seen this commercial, and if anything, it will convince Sci-Fi that Farscape fans are a bunch of untalented fan-boys (and girls) that smell bad, and don’t know how to make a commercial. It’s… bad.”

See I have no problem with being a fan of the show even tho I am not. But I won’t cry like a baby when The Simpsons get cancelled, I just don’t need t.v. too live. So so sad.

Anyone else agree with me? Leave a comment.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Video Game

The Lord of the Rings games are out, but which one is good. Judging from the commericials I would say “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers”, based on the movie, was a better looking game than “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”, which is the official game of the books. I still have yet to pick either of them up.

Not only is the “The Two Towers” game a better rated game it gives a couple of great pluses to hardcore LOTR fans. The game is actually includes The Fellowship of the Ring also, so you actually get two books in one game. Also, it cuts in movie clips, so if you want an early and extra sneak peek to the next LOTR’s movie, check out the game, I know I’m going to now, along with NBA2K3.

Lord of the Rings Special Edition DVD

As Colin mentioned I picked up the Special Edition DVD of the Lord of the Rings. For anyone who is wondering and who hasn’t picked it up yet, it is worth the $25 bucks (at Wal-Mart).

You get 30 minutes more movie, with scenes that really go into more depth into character and plot development. The other 2 disks in the 4 disk set are documentaries. The first dvd is pre-production preparation (2 1/2 hrs.) and the second is the actual making of the movie (3 1/2 hrs). I have only saw the first documentary but it gives you a totally new respect for Peter Jackson and the unbelievable undertaking he took to make such an incredible film.

Oh yeah, in addition to the other cool stuff you get a movie pass for up to $10.50 to the Two Towers. Forget pre-ordering opening day you have your ticket a month in advance. PRETTY SWEET!
