As if

As if anyone cares, but I am back in action. My wife and I decided it was time for some new digs, so that is what we did. Details non-forthcoming. I seriously doubt that is even close to a word.

Anyways, in the new abode, some changes had to occur on the computer front. Eliza ditched her desk, chair, computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse, and opted for the sweet sweet blissful freedom of a laptop computer. Taking full advantage of the 2Mbps internet connection broadcasted via our Wireless router, utilizing WEP, she doesn’t seem to miss her desk much. I, on the other hand, had to make some purchases to keep the LAN intact. An airport card for the iMac, which is far superior to any PCMCIA, or PCI hardware that I have ever used on Windows. Almost totally due to the fact that it turns the entire screen base into an antenna. Genious. So, my entire network is 100% Wi-Fi now, using 802.11b.

It won’t be long before I start posting here again, as there is much to talk about.
