Cool Cat iMixPlease, make no assumptions about the title of this post, in fact; don’t even ask me what the heck it means. It’s an inside, err, thing.

Moving on, I decided that I would put together an iMix. I then had to decide what would be on my play list. Well, I don’t have an mp3 player, nor do I have an MP3 compatible CD player in either of my cars, so I had to create a mix of a play list that would ultimately fit on CD. That being said, what better mix to choose than one I had already created. Those of you that read the aforementioned post would remember that I mentioned that the play list had it’s soft points. Not anymore.

Here is the play list made anew:

  1. Sic Transit Gloria…Glory Fades - Brand New
  2. Medicate - Breaking Benjamin
  3. All Apologies - Nirvana (In Utero)
  4. Okay I Believe You, but my Tommy Gun Don’t - Brand New
  5. Polyamorous - Breaking Benjamin
  6. Logan to Government Center - Brand New
  7. Next to Nothing - Breaking Benjamin
  8. She Says - Howie Day
  9. Jaws Theme Swimming - Brand New
  10. Pretty Pink Ribbon - Cake
  11. I will play my game beneath the Spin Light - Brand New
  12. Short Skirt/Long Jacket - Cake
  13. The Noose - A Perfect Circle
  14. Shallow Bay - Breaking Benjamin

At first glance, one might wonder: “What is Howie Day, Cake and Nirvana doing on this mix?” Well, what may seem like a strange mix between only a small number of albums (6) and 14 songs, is actually a really good mix of songs that transition really well. Often times, I’ve found that custom mixes jump around too much and end up not transitioning well. However, this particular mix, IMO works really well.

Update: It appears that the iTMS doesn’t contain Your Favorite Weapon by Brand New. So, the iMix is one song shy of the above play list.
