Good articles are hard to find

Tonight I started a post in which I was comprising a list dedicated to linking to well-written articles on the reasons for switching to the Macintosh platform from the Windows platform. The list, as time went on, got very long - but something wasn’t quite right. The list ended up including mostly “switcher’s” stories which wasn’t what I originally wanted. After making a backup of that post, I started again, this time trying to remain focused on my goal. After yet another period of time I ended up with articles about who has switched and where they switched from, along with some humorous flash movies which were making fun of Microsoft and William H. Gates. Again, this was not what I originally intended to publish, so I trashed that list altogether. After an exhaustive search, I can only draw 1 of 2 conclusions.

1. There are hardly any good articles stating specific details as to why Windows users should switch to the Macintosh platform (besides Apple.com/switch/).
2. Google has not index the articles which do exist, properly, making it extremely difficult to find them.

I would like to put together a comprehensive list of links to articles, stories, blog entries, etc. which explain in some type of detail the reasons for switching to the Macintosh platform from the Windows platform. Links which are for, against, biased and unbiased are all welcomed in this list. I would like to provide this list directly to Windows users who have thought about switching to the Mac platform, or even to those who are skeptical about making the switch. I’d like to ask for help in this regard. You can submit as many links as you’d like, and if you have a blog - include a link to that as well - and it will surely be promoted. I really think that having a list of these articles is important and extremely useful. Others have done something like this for similar reasons, and I am hoping that this effort can be half as successful as those.
