Breaking News: Google shows images
Google, in a stroke of genius, has just released a new default search which returns image results on the main page. Check it out.
Update: It appears as though Google is reserving this privilege to only certain searches. For example, searching for Flowers returns the normal search results. However, search for Domo Kun (don’t ask), returns 3 small thumbnails as the top results.
Could this be because 1800flowers.com has paid, no doubt, a pile of cash to have the top search results and sponsored links when someone searches for the keyword ‘flowers’? Interesting.
