The poster resolution

So, we all know that it took forever to get the Firefox poster. We also know that I have it now, and am displaying it in my home office.

What many of you do not know is that all of this has prompted a fairly large response. The posts on TUG.n don’t necessarily get hundreds of comments, and frankly I’m glad of that. Comments are hard to manage and respond to properly. However, I have received tons of E-mails, and links to sites dealing with the same problems that I faced with the Mozilla Foundation. But that isn’t necessarily the response I’m referring to.

The Mozilla Corporation finally made good on their word, and delivered the posters. But I wasn’t the only one. Many others have received their “goods” from the Mozilla store, and it seems like they are getting pretty well caught up on deliveries.

In fact, Chris Messina dropped by TUG.n to express his appologies for the delay(s), and likes the way I’ve decided to display the poster.

To Chris: Thanks for dropping by and offering an explanation for this mess. Thank you also for your compliments. I wish you and the Mozilla Foundation continued success and bug-free software!
