OS X Pinwheel When Busy
Q: You know what really grinds my gears?
A: The !#@$ annoying rainbow colored pinwheel when OS X goes busy.
I understand that if I had more memory this problem could be avoided, but not everyone can afford more RAM. I despise Windows and think Tiger is the greatest thing in the world. However, give me the hour glass any time over the pinwheel. I CANNOT TAKE the multi-colored skittle-ish spinning pinwheel. Even give me the classic watch winding instead of that piece of excrement.
I have no idea why I hate it so much, I just genuinely cannot stand it. Everytime I sense a program slowing up I get an empty feeling in my stomach then when I see the atrocisity that is the pinwheel I want to strangle a koala bear with razor wire. What is the purpose of having a pinwheel? Is that the universal sign for being busy? Whoever came up with the idea should be strapped to a chair and tortured mercilessly.
I would shake Steve Jobs’ hand anytime and thank him for making such sweet hardware and software and I love Apple, it can almost do no wrong in my eyes. But PLEASE for the love of all that is good in the world, please get rid of the pinwheel so I can sleep soundly at night.
