DVD Decision
This summer Warner Bros. and Amazon.com will be teaming up for what they’re calling DVD Decision 2006. It appears that this is not entirely new but I haven’t heard of it before so it’s new to me.
Here’s how it works. During the month of June 2006 fans can visit Amazon.com and vote for movies that the would like to see brought to DVD. The 10 titles with the most votes will be the titles produced for DVD at the end of June.
Voters will have to choose from 30 movies in the Warner Bros. catalog that have not been previously put on DVD. Some titles this year include Al Capone, The Hand, Up Periscope, April in Paris, Angels in the Outfield (1951), The Arrangement, Looker, Made in Heaven and One Trick Pony.
So, if you’re a fan of the older films and have been criticizing Warner for not bringing your fav title to DVD yet, set yourself a reminder.
