Spotlight and Aperture problems

Since my switch to Aperture from iPhoto I’ve been having a fairly good experience with Aperture.

Running on my Macbook it is a little slow but the amount of space I save with Aperture far outweighs the headaches of a less than speedy library. I’m fairly certain if I got a Mac Pro or something that the experience would be much better, and I’m also looking for speed improvements as the application matures a little.

The problem I’m running into now is Spotlight. I’ve had a ton of problems with Spotlight and iPhoto so this is nothing new to me - however I was able to fix my problems with iPhoto after a lot of Index arm wrestling. It seems though I am not able to get Spotlight to index my Aperture library.

Has anyone had this issue? Are there any sure-fire solutions?
