It’s a fake, they do this often. All the shows they were subbing have taken a two/three week break over Christmas and new year. The first show back is Bleach on the 9th if I’m not mistaken therefore their next release will be on the 10th.

They do a lot of fake releases and such, but this has been something I’ve seen them repeat before. Hopefully it is a fake and the fansubs will return on their scheduled release dates.

db needs a kickin the nuts to realize they are not the cent of the subbing universe, they are the sewer of it.

I can see how someone could be upset with DB. They’ve done some pretty dumb things with fake releases and trolls. However, fansubbing is a free service, and without them, you wouldn’t have episodes available on streaming sites without them. Not saying DB is that important, but they are subbing one of the more popular anime right now; Bleach. I just don’t want to see other fansubbing groups do the same thing.

Its a trick, they want to stop all the idiots putting up the fan-subs on youtube and get a good laugh at the same time, i sent a message telling them what a neat trick it was (most people forget, the shows are on break till next week)

They normally include, “This is NOT a troll” at the bottom of posts that aren’t trolls, and they did that with this one. Of course, nothing is sacred with these guys. I’m kind of in the middle in terms of how serious they are. Based on their history, probably a trick. But even if it is, it raises a point of concern that I think is valid. We’ll find out on the 10th, after the new Bleach episode airs I guess.

Personally I think all the asshats uploading any fansub of anything on streaming media sites like youtube should be beaten like the lame otaku retards they are. Bit torrent it don’t stream it. I personally hope that all the major US anime companies clamp down on streaming video sites like the RIAA/MPAA have been doing.

I have a lot of respect for DB because they get the job done fast and efficient and I think they are hilarious. Getting responses back from people that just hate them makes me want to keep going back to see the comments they make. However, i’ve kinda figured out a strategy to the troll factor and in the top right corner you can go to the Brazil site which subs in Portuguese. They actually give dates to the releases of Naruto and Bleach and they are both scheduled to release over the next two days. They have never fallen short of these releases and they have the same exact announcement on the Brazil website.

The site linked by the video uploader says DB makes plenty of money on the fansubs and isn’t going to stop uploading to youtube. I didn’t see the whole viral torrent thing you said was there Blunbad. But DB has released the new Bleach, so maybe they were just mad at uploaders and not really halting all fansubbing.

Looks like they have released Shippuuden 42. There is the 42 new years YHBT special, and now an ACTUAL episode 42 release. Who knows if they’re just publishing their backlog or actually just continuing to release period. I guess only time will tell.

They also released Bleach 155. I think they never planned to actually halt the subs, just to scare people into not uploading the fansubs. Either way, I think they have a valid point.
